Already have a VPS or website? Under the right conditions, e-labels.at can often run in addition – for example as a subdomain next to your site, without a separate platform.
Self-hosting does not automatically mean higher security or blanket GDPR compliance. That also depends on how you operate and configure your server. Whether co-hosting on an existing server makes sense depends on your specific setup.

What does e-labels.at cost?
There are no recurring licence fees for the software. You need your own VPS. I optionally offer setup for €99 incl. VAT.
Do I need technical knowledge?
Self-hosting benefits from basic VPS and Docker skills. Alternatively, I can handle installation for you.
Where is my data stored?
On your own server. The exact location depends on your chosen hosting provider and server region.
Can I host in Austria?
Yes. With netcup, for example, you can choose Vienna where the relevant plan and location are available.
Do I need my own domain?
You can use an existing domain or subdomain.
Is e-labels.at a SaaS service?
No. Each instance runs independently on your own server.
Am I automatically legally covered?
No. The software is a technical tool for providing electronic product information. The producer or responsible food business operator remains responsible for accuracy, completeness, and legal compliance.
Who helps if I run into problems?
I am personally available for questions. Ongoing maintenance and extended technical support can be arranged separately.
